Salutations!
The end of October is near, which means that we’re fully in DEVOLSON Season (Dark Evil Vortex of Late September, October, and November). As you engage with caregivers, patrons, and stakeholders, now is the time to advocate for your library! Things you can do now:

It is budget season. Start talks with your district about 26-27 funding and staffing.

Share library stories with stakeholders. Center examples in student voice. See Dr. Ross Todd’s Ohio study for more information and ideas.

Share library lesson plans, ideas, and stories to the listserv. We stand on the shoulders of metaphorical giants, and are better together.
November is quickly approaching, which means our Annual Meeting is, too! Our Annual Meeting will be on Friday, November 6th over the lunch hour at VT Fest. Our agenda is:
